10-Year Warranty
Every Modnium piece is covered by a 10-year structural warranty and a 1-year material warranty. The terms below define exactly what's covered, for how long, and by whom.
10-Year Structural Warranty
Covers, for 10 years from delivery date:
- Frame splitting, breakage, or joint failure under normal residential use
- Spring breakage, displacement, or sagging
- Joinery loosening or separation
- Hardware failure (legs, bolts, brackets)
1-Year Material Warranty
Covers, for 1 year from delivery date:
- Foam cushion compression beyond normal settling (cushions should retain 80%+ of original loft after 1 year)
- Fabric or leather seam separation
- Manufacturer defects in fabric, leather, or wood finish
- Mechanism failures (sleeper sofa pull-out, recliner mechanism)
What's not covered
- Damage from misuse (jumping on furniture, exposing to weather)
- Pet damage (claws, chewing, repeated jumping)
- Stains, fading, or wear from normal use
- Damage from professional cleaning that voided fabric care instructions
- Commercial use (our products are warrantied for residential use)
How to make a claim
- Email warranty@modnium.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
- We respond within 2 business days with next steps.
- If covered, we'll ship replacement parts (hardware, cushion cores, slip covers) — or, for major defects, schedule a return and replacement.
The warranty is registered to the original purchaser and isn't transferable. Keep your order confirmation email.
